Similarly, Kashmiris living in held valley and Azad Kashmir were fully supporting proposals of President of Pakistan he said.
Talking to Business Recorder here on Wednesday night he added that Pakistan was making arduous efforts resolving disputes including the core issue of held Kashmir through dialogues with India on the basis of equality. Undoubtedly, he said that Pakistan had successfully projected the Kashmir issue at international forums as a result of which the global community had perceived the magnitude of the dispute and its credit goes to President Pervez Musharraf.
There is no change in Kashmir policy and Pakistan was mobilising all channels for resolving more than half-century old Kashmir dispute acceptable for the Kashmiris of both the sides he said.
The Speaker National Assembly stressed upon the Indian government to show flexibility in the attitude and accept the suggestions of President Pervez Musharraf with an open heart for resolving the longstanding Kashmir dispute and enable the Kashmiris to live peacefully.
About the current tempo of dialogues, he said that flexibility was direly needed at this juncture but it is imperative that dialogues should be result-oriented he added.
Choudary Amir Hussain has said that government had chalked out a well-knitted rehabilitation plan for providing shelter to the quake victims of Azad Kashmir and NWFP areas. The government was mobilising all resources for reducing and sharing the miseries of quake-affected and by the grace of Almighty Allah affectees would be provided shelter he said.
The Speaker NA further stated government was using all available resources for providing food to the earthquake-affected families as well as extending medical treatment to the injured persons especially those had lost their limbs.
The role of international community, political parties of Pakistan and general public of the country is highly commendable for extending timely financial help and dispatching tents, medical teams and articles of daily use to quake affected people of Azad Kashmir and NWFP areas, he said. Choudary Amir called upon all political parties of the country that they should extend their full support to the government for resolving the problems of quake-hit people.
